Overview

As Snack Bar Staff, you’ll prepare and serve food, welcome customers, and keep service moving in a clean, organized workspace. You’ll take orders, process payments, and help guests choose items through friendly, attentive service. This role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced food service environment and can balance accuracy with a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve menu items while following food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices.
• Take and manage customer orders, answer questions, and support efficient service during busy periods.
• Operate kitchen equipment, cash registers, and point-of-sale (POS) systems; process cash and retail sales transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean workspace, restock supplies, and follow food safety management procedures.
• Your impact: Accurate orders and safe food preparation help customers enjoy a smooth, welcoming visit.

Skills

• Essential: Customer service, food preparation, food handling, cash handling, cashiering, basic math, time management, and clean workspace maintenance.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations; Aloha POS or Micros POS experience is a plus.
• Food service, restaurant, café, kitchen, culinary, food industry, or quick-service and fast-food experience is helpful.
• Ability to serve customers, manage orders, use kitchen equipment, and handle food safely and hygienically.
• Sales, upselling, retail sales transactions, and retail math skills are useful for supporting customer choices and accurate checkout.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 21.0 per week
