Part Time Dispatcher (Seasonal When It Snows)

About the job

Responsibilities:

• Will need to come into our Macedonia location for initial onsite training prior to working from home
• Must be available when it snows to dispatch event
• Coordinate and manage snowplow drivers routes in a organized and efficient fashion.
• Utilize our Electronic Dispatch System
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Monitor and update completion times
• help coordinate with field managers to make sure all work is completed in a timely manor
• Perform data entry tasks to input and update shipment information in the system
• Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments

-Be able to work on call from Midnight to 5pm. (typical snow event is 6hours, however mother nature dictates how long we work)

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes

-Strong Computer skills

• Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and tracking completion of routes from drivers
• Excellent communication skills to interact with drivers and internal customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly

Note: Experience with dispatching is a plus.
