The Goddard School of Twinsburg is hiring a Part-Time Assistant Teacher to support classrooms throughout our school. This role works with children of various ages, assists lead teachers with daily activities, and helps create a safe, engaging environment for children to learn and grow.

This is a year-round position with a flexible schedule. Afternoon availability is required, although additional daytime hours are often available based on enrollment and staffing needs.

Perfect for college students, education majors, retirees, parents returning to the workforce, or anyone who enjoys working with children.

What You'll Do

• Assist lead teachers with classroom activities and daily routines
• Supervise and engage children through play, learning activities, and conversations
• Support multiple classrooms throughout the school as needed
• Help children with transitions, meals, and classroom routines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers

What You Bring

• Reliability and a positive attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take direction from lead teachers and management
• Experience working with children is helpful, but not required
• College students welcome
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet state background check requirements
