General Facility Manager, Spindle Repair

Cuyahoga Falls, OH (Onsite) | Full-Time, Direct Hire | $90,000 to $110,000 per year | Auto allowance | Relocation negotiable

Run a machine tool spindle repair facility in a highly visible role with a path to general management of the company.

Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent electromechanical background
• Ability to perform engineering calculations on rotating equipment machine elements
• Proficiency in super precision rolling element bearing engineering and application
• Experience in bearing and mechanical component failure analysis
• Strong organization and communication skills

What You'll Do

• Oversee and direct all functions of the service facility
• Supervise and mentor Repair Technicians
• Coordinate with a sister service center to balance workload and route repairs efficiently
• Support Sales with technical guidance, cost estimates, and schedule estimates
• Determine spindle failure causes and recommend improvements
• Review spindle evaluation reports and build repair quotes from parts and labor costs
• Schedule and assign repairs based on technician experience
• Review final repair reports to ensure every spindle meets standards

Nice-to-Haves

• Machine tool service experience
• Machining or grinding background
• Experience in the bearing industry
