Job Summary

As a Cashier/Sales Associate, you’ll create a welcoming shopping experience by helping customers find products, answering questions, and completing accurate purchases. You’ll use point-of-sale (POS) systems, share product knowledge, and support daily store operations. Your impact: Helpful recommendations and smooth checkout experiences make shopping easier for customers and encourage confidence in their purchases.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, provide attentive customer service, answer product questions, and demonstrate products when appropriate.
• Process retail sales transactions using POS systems and cash register operations; handle cash, maintain the cash drawer, and apply basic and retail math accurately.
• Support retail sales through product recommendations and appropriate upselling based on customer needs.
• Stock merchandise, maintain organized displays, and assist with merchandising and store upkeep.
• Answer calls with professional phone etiquette and collaborate with teammates; bilingual communication and supervising experience may be useful depending on store needs.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to handle cash, operate a cash register, and complete transactions accurately; familiarity with basic math and retail math is helpful.
• Interest in sales, retail sales, and developing retail store product knowledge.
• Reliability and willingness to support stocking, merchandising, product demos, and other store tasks.
• Cashiering or retail experience is helpful; POS familiarity, bilingual skills, phone etiquette, upselling, and supervising experience are preferred.
• You are encouraged to come in and fill out a paper application

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
