We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center as Alarm Monitoring Specialists. This full-time role offers multiple shift options, including mid-shift, second shift, and third shift, with schedules that may include weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete a paid training course and pass a final exam to certify your skills as an Alarm Monitoring Specialist.
• Monitor and respond to alarm signals quickly and accurately using various phone and computer systems.
• Coordinate with emergency responders, including police and fire departments, to ensure rapid action during alarm events.
• Notify and update customers promptly during alarm situations to provide peace of mind.
• Handle incoming and outgoing calls professionally through a multi-line telephone system.
• Document events accurately through data entry while maintaining confidentiality of customer information.
• Follow established protocols to effectively support life-safety and emergency response operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college education preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience is ideal.
• Candidates must successfully complete a pre-hire typing assessment of 30+ words per minute.
• Proficient in basic computer functions and capable of performing data entry and documentation using business software.
• Able to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for long periods.
• Effectively monitor, interpret, and respond to information from multiple computer screens.
• Perform duties in an office setting with standard LED and fluorescent lighting.
• Capable of wearing a headset for extended periods to communicate with customers.
