Job Summary

Responsible for visually inspecting representative samples of parts and testing and measuring sample parts for conformance to specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, hardness, and other standards outlined in the control plan. Performs assigned duties in the area of PPAP, APQP, Gage Control, SPC, and Final Audit. Understands and complies with relevant Management System requirements as called out on the Departmental Training Plan. Responsible for completing scheduled audits and assisting with training. MUST HAVE PREVIOUS QUALITY EXPERIENCE.

Responsibilities

Candidates must have strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to speak, read, and understand English. Basic computer skills with knowledge of Excel are needed. Candidates must be familiar with visual inspection and the concepts of measuring and dimensioning. Employees must pass a vision test annually.

Requirements

Opening is on third shift from 7 pm – 5 am Tuesday - Friday and requires the ability/desire to work overtime at the beginning or end of the shift or on weekends. Training is scheduled to be 2 weeks on 1st shift.

Pay: $18.84 - $23.24 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
